FAQs

I hope these ‘FAQ’s help to answer any questions you have at this stage.
As each of us is so utterly unique no static format will work for everyone but this gives you an overview of how the sessions work.
If you would like to discuss any element of this work in greater detail please do not hesitate to contact me.

You are welcomed into the ‘Aqua Spiralis Water Womb Room‘ for your sessions.
This is a beautiful purpose built log cabin that was created by my husband, Scott, for the sole purpose of offering a safe space to listen.
I had the land cleared and blessed before the foundations were laid and healing crystals are buried under the floor.
Within the cabin we have a:
- 2 metre circular hot tub pool that the ‘Water Womb Room’ takes it name from
- floor space to roll, move, dance & flow within
- baby changing facilities
- love, light, safety & a warm welcome each time you arrive
We are situated in a quiet village of Potterspury on the boarder of Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire & South Northamptonshire.
Full venue details are given upon booking.
Rather than individual ‘sessions’ please look at this as a journey we take together…
For both therapy formats we book 2 sessions with a 4-6 week gap in between – you need to commit to the 2 sessions as a minimum.
Thereafter we work on an individual basis of when we get together again – this could be from every 2 months to once per year for as long as you wish to continue.
For the Water Womb Room – Birth Processing:
- We start with an initial 1.5 hours together
- We have a 4 – 6 week interlude
- We come together again for our second session which is around an hour
- These sessions are a mixture of water and dry-land
- The break between the 2 sessions gives you and your little one time to pause & feel into the new sensations and potential they are experiencing.
For the babies working in the water, we would look at the initial 2 sessions to start with and take guidance from your baby as to when we meet again.
For the Rhythmic Movement Therapy:
- We start with an initial 1.5 hours together
- We have a 4 – 6 week interlude
- We come together again for our second session which is around an hour
- These sessions are predominately dry-land based
- During the 4 – 6 week interlude between these 2 sessions you will have a menu of movements to work on that we create during the initial session
We then review the journey & work on a plan moving forward; it could be that we meet again after another 4-6 weeks / it could be 4-5 months.
Your child / Your body will guide us on the path we need to adventure on together.
For the Rhythmic Movement Therapy I would put a rough plan together to commit to at least 3 sessions together over a 6 month period.
Some journeys will be longer and some shorter – until we connect there is no way to completely answer this question but it will unfold as it needs to once we establish a link.
For the Water Womb Room – Birth Processing:
The initial two therapy sessions (booked together) will cost a total of £75
£45 for the initial 1.5 hours
£30 for the second hour session together
Subsequent sessions are booked as your child may need them and these will be costed depending on the session length & content
For the Rhythmic Movement Therapy:
The initial two therapy sessions (booked together) will cost a total of £75
£45 for the initial 1.5 hour
£30 for the second hour session together
Subsequent sessions are booked as your child may need them in 1 hour sessions @ £40
For the Birth Processing Therapy:
Yes, pausing to listen to the language of your baby’s body is an element we will focus on together in the sessions and this is definitely something to take pleasure in practicing at home together
For the ‘Rhythmic Movement Therapy‘:
Yes, I will collate a movement menu for you at each session that we will practice together to ensure you as the parent / carer are comfortable to take hime with you.
You receive a booklet with the menu in it and this has the individual movements detailed plus the frequency and variations we are going to work with.
The number of times per week and the individual repetitions are all completely unique so this will be recorded in your booklet for you to take home with you.
Yes, for both the Birth Processing and the Rhythmic Movement Therapy, I will send you an questionnaire to complete and return to me at least 2 days before attending.
The questions cover a plethora of areas – it all helps to build up a picture, and during the sessions I will invite you to talk about your own story to aid in us becoming curious about the layers of your little one’s story.
Whatever is comfortable – we will be working on the floor, so trousers, leggings or shorts are probably best. A water bottle to hydrate with during the session is also a good idea.
